1. Who we are

FructCode is operated by FructCode OÜ (registry code 16391632), a company established in Estonia. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data processed through our website and services. For any privacy-related question or request, contact us at info@fructcode.com.

2. Data we collect

  • Collected automatically. When you visit the site we collect technical information such as your IP address and browser/device information, together with usage data needed to operate and secure the service.
  • Provided on registration. When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and login credentials.

3. Legal basis for processing

We rely on the following legal bases under Article 6 of the GDPR:

  • Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). To create and manage your account and provide the subscription/course access you have purchased.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). To analyse traffic and usage so we can maintain, secure, and improve the service.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). To send you marketing emails, where you have opted in. You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active and for 12 months after the account is deleted, after which it is erased or anonymised. Transaction and accounting records are retained for 7 years as required by Estonian accounting law.

5. Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data:

  • Right of access (Art. 15) — to obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16) — to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17) — to have your data deleted (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20) — to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object (Art. 21) — to object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
  • Right to withdraw consent — to withdraw any consent you have given, at any time, without affecting prior processing.

6. Right to complain

If you believe our processing of your personal data infringes data-protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate: Andmekaitse Inspektsioon — www.aki.ee.

7. Third-party processors

We use carefully selected third parties to process data on our behalf:

  • Google Analytics — traffic analysis. Data may be transferred outside the EEA under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Stripe — payment processing. See stripe.com/en-ee/privacy.

8. Cookies

  • Necessary cookies — session and authentication cookies required for the site to function. These do not require consent.
  • Analytics cookies — used by Google Analytics. These are set only with your opt-in consent.
  • Marketing cookies — used to support marketing. These are set only with your opt-in consent.

You can review and change your choices at any time via your cookie preferences.

9. Email communications

If you have opted in to marketing emails, every email we send includes a clear unsubscribe link and instructions to opt out. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and we will stop sending marketing messages. We will still send essential service-related messages (for example, account and transaction notices).
